Sedation with nitrous oxide: This type of sedation is indicated for the control of fear and anxiety and patients with difficulty in cooperating during dental care. It can be used in babies, children, adults and the elderly. It consists of inhaling a mixture of oxygen and nitrous oxide.
The patient remains awake, but stays calm and peaceful.
